Took a minute to understand that these weird sci-fi images were photos my phone somehow took by itself when it was in the bottom of an insulated shopping bag. The first one looks like a landscape on a faraway planet.
We recently saw Daniel Kahn and Jake Shulman-Ment perform rollicking Yiddish songs at City Winery, where Rich and I shared an impeccable mezze platter.. Afterward we strolled on the Pier at sunset and enjoyed the views over the Hudson and Little Island. This was before the soul-killing heat wave rolled over the city.
I had a very small role (as the mom of the protagonist’s best friend) in this charming film which just won an award at the Tribeca Film Festival. So pleased to have been a part of this production!
Sometimes it feels like my brain is under surveillance. Just that morning I was thinking “I never win anything!” and later I got a text that I had won a large prize basket from a new Teso Mini store in the neighborhood. Maybe I manifested it?
