✨2023 art vs artist✨
I figure that since it's the last week of the year, it's a fitting time to share this as my last post of 2023. I love this trend and I think it's a very fun way to show you all the face behind the art!
This year has been full of ups and downs and a lot of challenges for sure, but it has also been full of progress and growth. I've learned so much about what direction I want to take my art and I've met so many wonderful new friends and connected with artists that I really love. I'm so grateful that I get to share my artistic journey with you all and I can't wait to see what 2024 brings!

Commissions are open!
Fully shaded character bust illustrations with a flat color background are $30
Half body illustrations are $50 and more detailed backgrounds and poses with props are additional cost (may be negotiable)
My commissions are always digital illustrations sent as high resolution jpgs that the commissioner is free to use however they would like.
I always love being able to open commissions and make Illustrations for other people so I'm excited to have commissions open again!

Finally decided its time to post my paper doll series of fashion illustrations using my girl Kenji as a model! I think its so fun dressing her up in different styles that she would NEVER wear canonically 🤩 so this is the first of the multiple sketches I've done of her in different styles!
Starting with a simple cottagecore vibe 🌷
I think posting my sketches on here will also help me overcome some more of the urges to give in to perfectionism and thinking things I've made aren't good enough to share.

I really wanted to do some cutesy fashion illustrations and I've been extra nostalgic for Avatar The Last Airbender lately so ofc I had to draw the icon Katara herself!
I also messed around with some new brushes for sketching and inking and they were very fun and helpful in avoiding getting too caught up in perfectionism
