The Chicago/Texas Sound Ensemble will kick off a three show Texas run starting a week from today. Ken Vandermark- tenor saxophone, Jonathan Horne- electric guitar, Matthew Frerck- acoustic bass, Stefan Gonzalez- vibraphone, Kory Cook- drums. We will be playing all new original material. 5/22- San Antonio, 5/23 Austin, 5/24 Dallas. I hope to see some homies. Cheers y’all!
I’ll be heading back to Chicago next month to kick off the Option Series at Experimental Sound Studios on 6/14. I’ll be playing in a trio with two incredible musicians I greatly admire: Ben LaMar Gay and Dave Rempis. Many thanks to Lily Finnegan and Experimental Sound Studios for making this happen.
