Oh Pattie. This show swept me off my feet and has continued to surprise me every single day of this journey. Every family is complicated, everyone person on the planet can relate to mortality and every one of us could use the reminder to live each day and moment to its fullest. Kimberly Akimbo reminded me in every breath of this script & score that you never know when you have to say goodbye, so just enjoy the time. Gosh I hope I am so lucky that I get the privilege of working on this gem again someday. There are so many reasons why this show has been so special to be part of. The script, the score, an incredible group of people on stage, back stage, on the creative team & so many magical theatre moment firsts. We are really ice skating on stage, working with a revolve, arm casts, leg braces, tuba playing, crime and of course - playing pregnant for the time.
