About a month now since @myrband EP has been out. Life has been on-going to a speed beyond me but I wanted to share some of my personal moments spent at the ranch where the guys and I got to write, re-hearse and record all of last September. I still can’t believe it’s out. I still can’t believe I got to make music with these dudes from middle school. One who’d play his guitar at almost every lunch recess, a wild lyrebird and the other whose quietness and amazing ear for sound would astound the second you gave him your time. All these years later and we gave this trio a shot. Stepping into music for me has been like Deja-vu. Familiar territory but it was always on the outside looking in. Almost like I knew this needed out of me. I’m so happy it became my escape when I needed it most. It’s taken a while to accept that I actually love this craft and it’s okay that I’m not the most trained. This form of art does my soul good and when I see it being transmitted to those joining the moment, there’s nothing like it. Forming my own relationship with music has made me feel the most comfortable in my skin. Ever. I never expected it. I’m so excited to share more music this year! THANK YOU for listening and for the support. Never doubt yourself, but if you do… try not to stay there. Go after those desires. I always say, they are in you for a reason.
