This Friday at opening week of the Venice Biennale, I had the pleasure of speaking with Marina Abramović about the Avatar presented at the Gallerie dell’Accademia together with TAEX. We reflected on presence, technology, memory, and the future of artistic experience through this extraordinary project.
More than 200 people joined to tune in to our conversation, followed by a beautiful evening surrounded by friends, collaborators, collectors, and our wider community.

On April 24, TheMerode @themerode.brussels unveiled the Marina Abramović Salon and, in collaboration with TAEX, opened a special preview of METHOD-an upcoming series by Marina Abramović featuring her avatar.
Due to be released in mid-2026, this body of work is dedicated to the renowned Marina Abramović Method, the foundation of the Marina Abramović Institute (MAI).
