I remember meeting Linford Christie in my local supermarket as a child. My parents pointed him out and told me about this amazing man and a fantastic athlete. It didn't mean much to me at the time, but as I grew up I started to realise just how much drive it had inspired as I grew up. Success could come from where I lived.
