BLOOM - MINDSCAPE 🌺🌀
To welcome the Spring Equinox, I think it was finally time to showcase this project which I’ve also been hoarding for a minute 😅.
The concept ‘Bloom’ came about because the phenomenal model @ggabij (my spiritual sis) and I had not seen each other for about 3 years and had not collaborated in 4, due to life simply taking us on our respective solo arcs.
When our schedules finally aligned again to have a reunion, we wanted to not only catch up, but to do something productive at the same time - so we decided to do a shoot.
As we were simultaneously planning the shoot & updating each other on the last 4 years of our lives, we both noticed how much we had grown as people through the sheer perseverance to overcome our trials and tribulations.
Upon realising this, we decided to hone into that for the foundation of the concept, & what you see is the result of that.
There are so many layers to this shoot that I could go on about, but I’ll just let the art speak for itself.

TARGET ACQUIRED (PART 1) - AURA DETECTED 📸🔭
Happy Sunday peeps 💫,
‘Target Acquired’ is my own version/spin on a ‘Places & Faces’ type series, where I capture shots of people in the community who have caught my eye some particular reason.
Part 1 (Aura Detected) is about people who caught my eye due their aura; demonstrated through their personal style, stage presence & overall welcoming energy.
I like the social aspect that the world of photography provides & exercising my creative eye with the immediate environment I find myself in, so this is a fun way to combine both of factors into my work.
In future I would definitely like to play with themes for this series to create more cohesive posts, but the candid memories made with everyone in this carousel only made it right for the series to begin this way.

AMATEURS - LOST LOVE 🥀.
Lore - This is actually an old shoot of mine (3 years today to be precise).
I wasn’t even meant to be the photographer for this project; @falserealitypresents originally intended to do a self portrait.
In addition, I had never done conceptual photography prior. I mainly did photography for fun - just to capture candid moments/events from my perspective. Basically I was very worried about letting her down 😅.
Anyway, the reason why I chose to post this today is because this was the first shoot I did where my relationship with photography was truly established. I transitioned from capturing atmosphere’s to creating them instead.
This upload is a personal reminder to get back into that energy for 2026. I have plenty of stuff on the way & I look forward to seeing how it connects with you all.
I appreciate everyone who’s been rocking w me thus far, we only just getting started 😤💫.
