“GARSA is a Portuguese-born, Brussels-based DJ, producer and the co-founder and curator
of DÉBRIS, a collective launched in late 2024 through a shared vision. While he’s rooted in
post-punk and wave, DÉBRIS channels Brussels’ unique connection to genres like New
Beat, EBM, Techno, Italo and other synth-driven sounds, pushing them into new, inclusive
territory.
GARSA’s sets are gritty and deliberate, threading together raw grooves, lush textures and
the nostalgic energy of moody dancefloors. Whether weaving through stripped-down
intensity or crafting an unholy link between genres, his approach is expressive, unpolished
and built for momentum.
Now making his debut in Berlin and joining the Stecker Collective, GARSA continues to
carve out a space for music that bridges past and future, tension and relief.”
