We recently had to say a final goodbye to our very dear friend Gerry.
I first met Gerry when we were teenagers playing in bands. He was a great musician and bass player and our friendship has continued for well over 50 years.
Gerry was one of the cleverest people I have ever known. He could turn his hand to any new project and would always go into great detail to solve a problem. He had a huge breadth of knowledge. He was funny, intelligent, inventive and patient.
Gerry worked alongside us as part of our team for over 30 years. Status Graphite would not have achieved the position it has today without his wise words, determination and support.
Thank you, Gerry.
You will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will gather today to say their last goodbye to Nick as he takes his final journey.
Sadly, we cannot attend Nick's service as today is Rob's 70th birthday and we are celebrating this with our family. However, at lunch, we will raise a glass to Nick - bass legend, Status afficionado, and all round great chap!

We are so shocked and very sad to have seen this news about Nick. He was one of the nicest people in our industry, he had so much knowledge and was always very happy to share his time and expertise. He could remember things about our basses that we'd long forgotten. Nick Smith aka 'Doctor Bass' was such a popular guy, he was one of the best! We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends. May you rest in peace Nick 🕯🙏

We had such a fantastic time in beautiful Rome last week watching Guy play his Status Series-2, headless, 5-string along with his good old favourite 'Betsy' and of course David Gilmour and the rest of an amazingly talented group of people! The light show was pretty fab too 😎.
