Bit of a long post but…. Now that Chicago is Fully Open! I thought it be a great idea to release an hour long Juke Mix for the summer! I Wanted to show case some of my favorite tracks from artist in Chicago and beyond. I’m paying homage to the style of mixes released throughout the 90’s. Fast paced, hyper and just crazy all around. I wanted to stick to the Juke side of the genre so that people can really get into it. There’s also footwork in it so don’t worry. I’ve been working on this mix a little over a year and a half trying to find what song best fits in the next blend. It’s a bit excessive but I wouldn’t want to release just half ass mix. Originally it was 15 mins and showed it to a few people and asked me to extend it. So then it was 30 mins and they felt it was still short, so I went all out. It releases in a month and I hope it reaches a big audience. Never have I put in so much work into something so I hope you guys like. I’ll be previewing the mix leading up to the release date.
