📢SOTM 2026 Logo Alert📢
We proudly present the winning logo for SoTM 2026 designed by LySioS, paying homage to French motifs and icons.
The logo depicts a compass in which the compass rose is the Eiffel Tower seen from above. I like this view because it is a subtle but evocative view, and when combined with the compass points, it recalls the lines of Vauban's fortifications, an important part of French architectural heritage.
The choice of colours naturally fell on blue, white and red, which are the national colours. Red for the Eiffel Tower, as this is its original colour.

Le logo représente une boussole dans laquelle la rose des vents est une Tour Eiffel vue de dessus. Cette vue m'a plu car elle est subtile mais évocatrice, et qui couplée aux pointes de la boussole rappelle les tracés des fortifications Vauban, patrimoine architectural français important.Le choix des couleurs s'est naturellement porté vers le bleu blanc rouge qui sont les couleurs nationales. Le rouge pour la tour Eiffel puisque c'est sa couleur originelle.
