Are you scared yet?! 😱 While you (probably) won't find these harmful pests and plants in your candy, it's possible to find them on your outdoor gear, car, or firewood. Clean your gear and vehicles thoroughly to help prevent the spread. Learn more about invasive species in your area by visiting your state forestry agency's website.

Come on, Barbie, let's go protect and manage forests! 🌳 Barbie teaches young girls that they can be anything—so why not pursue a career in forestry? It's a lifetime investment in our planet, often with some of the most beautiful views in the world. Disclaimer: Mattel did not sanction these jobs except entomologist and forest ranger. But all the outfits are real, so use your imagination!

If you want to have the happiest job on Earth, consider working in forestry! The Bureau of Labor Statistics American Time Use Survey finds that forestry professionals are happiest in their jobs than workers in any other industry. Analysts believe this finding correlates with the fact that forestry professionals spend more time outside than other industries.

Humans cause around 85% of unwanted, unplanned wildfires in the U.S. Escaped or reignited debris burns are a leading cause of these fires. Use a burn barrel when possible and always keep your pile small and manageable. Never burn on dry, windy days. For more information to keep your backyard burn safe, visit SmokeyBear.com/debris-burning-safety.

Trees are the future! 💡🌳 Mass timber is an engineered wood product that is as strong as steel but weighs less than half as much. Mass timber can often be built faster, cheaper, and safer than traditional buildings. And the results are gorgeous! Exposed wood is proven to enhance calm, focus, and productivity.
