2.19.26. It all kicked off with our bachelor(ette) party surrounded by the most special, hilarious, and unhinged people in our lives aboard various modes of transportation. beep beep. The sunscreen & hydration alarms on our phones were set, the sushi was fresh (my fave was the guava!), the little floaty sank with the weight of our love. And let me tell you our friends and siblings pulled out all the stops to surprise us at EvErY turn. I’m talking Stanny packs. Stannigans cups. Not one, but two surprise performances?! A boat serenade. An unbelievable medley by @jellikaboom on a roofless bus in the parking lot of Benihana to the tune of Ricky Martin’s “Bailamos”. It was a perfect reunion with our favorite people- our bald caps making us feel nothing short of aerodynamic as we cruised down Miami’s causeway in the ocean breeze. Danny (as Pitbull) and I kissed in front of the place that started it all. We were filled to the brim with colossal shrimps and unbridled joy. “Life is not a waste of time, and time is not a waste of life. So let’s stop wasting time… and have the time of our lives.” - Mr.305

With you, I’ve learned that love isn’t a performance, but an exploration in all its forms. The happiest one year of being fiancées with you @starrjlea A bit of background on these breathtaking photos captured by @eglesstudio … Starr and I decided on a semi-last-minute trip to Lake Como while we were in Denmark, celebrating my best friend’s wedding. A spur of the moment decision to take some engagement photos, led us to meeting two of the most incredible photographers, who in a very short yet super fun session, created photos that will forever remind us of this time in our lives. We’re so grateful for their patience with us as we were a bit scrambled from our travels- taking a plane, to a bus to a train to another bus with 3 minutes to spare before this boat took off… After a super stressful day of travel, @eglesstudio immediately made us feel at ease and proceeded to let Starr and I live in our element: making each other crack up, take in the surrounding beauty, and reflect on some of the most magical moments of our lives together.. all while capturing those moments candidly. We couldn’t recommend @eglesstudio enough for your next trip to Italy! They truly are artists behind those lenses. Her ring is a whole other story that I can’t wait to share closer to our wedding date, but it was beautifully and expertly crafted by @giorgiandcojewelry in NYC. He was able to take a 200 year old coin given to my by my mother and melt it down create the band while incorporating Starr’s grandmothers’ diamond into the ring as well, melding our families histories.
