Ossie-Oscar: "As Ossie, a male stray rescue is disabled he has the personality like no other. He loves tummy rubs and playing with the other cats and dog. He jumps like a flying squirrel and hops like a kangaroo. Every afternoon he lies on top of the dining table in the sun and when walking past him he will stretch out and great you in his unique way hoping to be rubbed. He loves playing in his octagon filled with toys. Whenever he has to use the cats and it looks like a car that's being jacked up. Both his front legs are disfigured but when lying on the couch it looks like he gives you a "shap" sign."

Otis: "Otis, a rescued Kitten weighing less than 300g with a fractured tail and an infected elbow. After being given the option of having an amputation or worse. I requested some time with Otis on Antibiotics. Today he has the cutest tail, shaped like a broom and a healed elbow showing no signs of discomfort. I always wanted a cat but my mom was never fond of them. Currently, the household including my mom absolutely adores our little fighter. Otis loves to sprint and climb. He is very inquisitive, curious and loves following me around."

I learned that hands can bring love instead of pain. I learned how to play and wag my tail. From a broken soul who knew only suffering, I became a dog who radiates pure love and hope. Today I live my fairytale with Elsabe and Barend. As my mom says with tears in her eyes: “We didn’t adopt Hope — Hope adopt."
