Our Smusheroo is 10 months! Technically sheās halfway to 11 but we donāt obey the laws of time in this household anymore. Serenity is growing so much and picking up some notable skills, she rests her head affectionately on our laps in what can only be described as heart-meltingly cute. She expresses her displeasure at a great many things, namely, being physically put down from a ābeing-heldā position. She also doesnāt have teeth yet, not a single one. So weāre assuming all these terrible nights were just a warmup for the real thing? Anyway, we couldnāt love her more and are still in awe of what joy this little light in our life brings us day to day.
Iām still surprised Iām celebrating Motherās Day now š¤Ŗ
I love this little girl so so much. Iām grateful for her making me a mom while Iām still generally navigating what that means lololol
One day sheāll sit still and we will both look cute in the photos together

Sometimes I see something that scratches that graphic designer itch I have sometimes. I was gifted this vintage āyou gotta have artā button (last slide) from the 70s and after a quick google search I couldnāt find who made it originally. (Although the Detroit Institute of Art has a fun commercial with the slogan!)
I figured I could try and remake and update the logo so hereās my take on it! If ya like it, I have stickers for sale in my shop of it! (And mugs and prints)

Finally got a chance to test out the vinyl sticker paper that @koalagp_paper sent me!
I really liked the quality of the print! The colors are bright and clear. Only complaint is that there is a watermark on the back of the sheets.

9 months with our Smusheroo!
Serenity is standing up (assisted), sheās expanded her enclosure 3 times, and sheās eating solids 3 times a day. Sheās sleeping a little better, and expresses her displeasure VERY CLEARLY now.
She alligator-rolls on the changing table, loves to knock over daddyās towers, and flips the pages of her favorite books. She sings, she wiggles, she has us wrapped around her little fingies. We love her very much and hope she gets a little better at being restrained in her car seat so we can take her out on the town more!
No teeth yet though! š¬
