Ahead of our upcoming party in collaboration with @starlight.project__ at @kabulagogo ‘s Teatro room on the 27th, we would like to highlight some of the talented artists curating the sound for the night 🌟 With years of experience behind the booth, Surferboy’s vinyl collection speaks for itself. Surferboy is also founder of Starlight Project, a label and event series rooted in leftfield electronic music. Alongside the musical direction, he has developed the project’s visual identity through his own 3D design work, shaping a distinct and cohesive artistic world.. Ali Rivera has quickly made her mark on Dublin’s dance music scene through an expansive and evolving sound. For this edition of Starlight X Ó’Fada, she joins Donncha for a shared exploration of deep, dubby techno and house, rooted in their mutual love for hypnotic grooves 🧨 Starlight Resident DJ and producer Donncha draws inspiration from his love for forgotten white label releases as well as modern progressive sounds. Expect a set full of dub infused atmosphere, chunky house chords and deep sub bass. DJ Hushpuppy - With a love for sound system culture and a background in percussion, her sets blend both older uk influences with modern left field sounds. Warped, bass heavy, propulsive selections built as much for feeling as for dancing 🔊 Dublin born and now based in Utrecht, Daniel Ivashchenko is part of a new wave of selectors bringing proper raw old-school house and techno back to the dancefloor.
