I used to pray for days like this. Still showing up, still putting in the work, still choosing myself as an artist. Grateful for every step, every lesson, and everyone who’s been part of the journey. I’m ready to continue to share my gifts with the world and keep growing. 🙏🏾🎨

Behind the scenes in the studio today.
I’m building out a custom canvas for a client. Cutting, wrapping, and securing the canvas to the foam board before mounting it to the frame.
Everything is held together with staples, nails, superglue and wood glue. Every piece starts with a strong foundation. 🎨👨🏿🎨
There was a time when I was deeply drawn to painting geometric shapes.
I may return to them one day.
For now, I’m simply reflecting on the shapes of the past.

A new chapter in a new year, and in honor of my birthday.
I chose to mark this moment with painting under the first full moon of the year. This quick and fun project shot by @owenzubek helped to call in my spirit animal, the wolf. @thefoundationforge
The Wolf reflects both who I am and who I’m becoming. Like the wolf, I’m learning to walk the line between independence and deep community, solitude and belonging. Strong alone, stronger in connection.
This piece is a reminder to trust my instincts, honor my path, and stay aligned with the pack that nourishes my spirit. 🌕🐺
