It’s been almost 9 years since my last painting. Really pleased to continue learning more about myself through the creative act.
Ink drawing in sketchbook from early Dec 2022. I was reading a lot of Hellboy at the time. The way Mike Mignola captured light and shadow definitely had an influence. Reference is taken from the last known photograph of the last King of Russia, Tsar Nicholas II
