đĄ Innovation, Grown with Care đą
Innovation has always been part of our roots. From the years when Dino Cortopassi embraced the brand new process of mechanical harvesting, we continued to believe in using technology to grow better, not just faster. And we're encouraged when we see growers like Robben Ranch take on that same spirit of progress with their own practices by investing in some of the most advanced technology you can find in the agricultural world today.
Our seedlings are moving from their greenhouse trays to the field quickly guided by an automated transplanter that places each one into soil beds months in the making. Itâs a remarkable process, and one that growers are proud to adopt. But these machines donât work completely unsupervised.
Watchful eyes monitor every pass. Team members load trays by hand, catching anything that needs extra care. This blend of efficiency and attention helps keep costs down for our growers and consistency high for our customers. Itâs how we deliver premium tomatoesâgrown with intention, guided by people, and made for unforgettable dishes.

A lot of you ask, âWhat happens when the tomatoes stop coming into the cannery and our packing season is complete?â
Truth be told, weâve already begun preparing for next yearâs harvest. The warm, dry days of fall make for the perfect time to deeply till the soil in preparation for our next crop. This creates a soft, fertile bed for our seedlings to be planted in late spring.
Itâs also a time to collaborate.
We sit down and discuss the flavor profiles of different tomato varieties. We take samples of our growersâ soil and help chart a successful growing plan with them. We continue to work hard so that, as always, we can guarantee consistent, superior flavorâcan after can.

đ Superior Quality in Everything We Do âď¸
We get it, running a restaurant today means making tough choicesâand ingredients matter more than ever. Customers expect bold flavors, fresh taste, and food that stands out.
Thatâs why Stanislaus tomatoes are the go-to for chefs who wonât compromise. Grown for flavor, our tomatoes bring unmatched richness and consistency to every dish.
The result? Sauces that shine. Pizzas that pop. And a taste your customers will come back for.
Spending the day at Slice Out Hungerâs Pizza on the Pier was a good reminder of what makes the pizza community so special.
Great people came together to do what they love: feed others, share pizza, and raise money for those facing food insecurity. That is always a day well spent.
And when it happens outside (even in the rain), with a slice in hand and a view of New York City, it is pretty hard to beat.
Happy Motherâs Day!
With three passionate baseball playing sons, I have celebrated many Motherâs Day
weekends at the ballpark.
It was always a treat to share the day with other caring, loving, and supportive baseball
moms. There was no greater gift than being a part of our Little Leagueâs traditional
celebration where prideful young kids honored their mothers with a simple bouquet of
flowers.
While we may no longer gather at the ballpark for Motherâs Day, I treasure the
simplest moments spent with my sons â laughing, playing games, and simply being their
Mom.
Today, we celebrate all mothers whose love, care, and support make
a lasting difference every day. Wishing you a very Happy Motherâs Day.

Earlier this week Gino asked me to teach him how to make a ragĂš sauce. It was a little fast for a ragĂš but, I promised him it would be tonight. We celebrated our new family estate wine đˇ. We bottled just over 30 cases and are selling it by the bottle only at @tonyspizza415@capossf and @giovanniitalianspecialties . This is a brand new line and all the đ are grown on our property in Alamo, CA. Check out the label â¤ď¸. Itâs a lot different than our other label and the wine I feel is elevated. Thank you @stanislaustomatoes for the đ . The pasta đ garlic đ§ bread and vinođˇ turned out delicious đ. So glad I made some time tonight after work to spend it with family. We had such a blast đĽ
đą Getting Ready for the Real World đ
After months of being nurtured in the greenhouse, our tomato seedlings have finally been exposed to the elements for the last few weeks as they endure the âhardening offâ phase of their journey. This process involves slowly opening the curtains of the greenhouse to expose our seedlings to the cold wind and the harsher outdoor environment that will acclimate them to their future homes.
We like to think of this time as getting them ready for the âreal world.â
But how do we know when theyâre ready to leave? The stem of the seedling will turn a deep shade of purple, signaling its readiness for the next step on its path to becoming a beautiful Stanislaus tomato: transplanting. Check in with us next week as we share our transplanting process and all the preparation and care that go into every can of Stanislaus tomatoes.

A little encouragement from Chef Stanislaus to you. Share the love with a chef who needs to be reminded how amazing they are today. đ â¤ď¸

Weâre incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host tastings with talented restaurants across Mexico City and throughout MX.
These moments in the kitchen are always specialâwhere true respect for ingredients and craftsmanship shines through, something only hardworking chefs truly understand.
Weâre honored to be welcomed into their kitchens and to have our tomatoes become part of their table.

Reliability doesnât always make headlines, but it matters more than ever.
In a world where everything seems to change, thereâs value in knowing the can you open today will deliver the same trusted Stanislaus flavor as the one you opened years ago. For the people who cook with our products, consistency matters. Their guests expect a great meal, and their name is on every plate.
That kind of dependability doesnât happen by accident. It comes from steady care, constant refinement, and a commitment to never settle for âgood enough.â
While others chase ânew and improved,â we believe there is real value in flavor that shows up when it matters mostâevery can, every day, every year.

đ˘ Your Words, Not Ours đ
We'd like you to meet Drew from @marketpizzabdb . He and his pizzeria hold a special place in our heart because of his love, not only for pizza, but for his employees, his community and the journey of discovering more about his craft every day. Drew got us a little choked up on this one, but we wanted to share it with you nonetheless. We know that the glue that holds this community of pizza makers together is a shared desire to support one another and give to one another to no end.
Thanks for letting us be a part of your story @marketpizzabdb , and here's to many more years of being a family.
For generations, New Yorkers have made a slice of pizza more than food. They turned it into culture, tradition, and a point of pride. Somewhere along the way, they welcomed a California tomato into that story.
That has never been lost on us. Weâre grateful that Alta Cucina has earned a place in New York pizzerias and in a food tradition that means so much to so many. Itâs an honor we never take for granted.
