I’ve been lucky enough to get a few of these over the years. For those who do not know it is an Anvil Award which is given out at the Ad Rodeo which is an event that celebrates some of western Canada’s best advertising and design. This one, for me is special, it is the fellowship award and it recognizes long term contributions to the industry. It used to be called the Lifetime Achievement award which seemed to signify the end of the road. I hope the change of title means it is not the end of the road. I want to thank the AdRodeo association and all those who I have been lucky enough to create with for the last 30 years. I have gotten to work with a ton of amazing talented people, made many great friends, and produced a lot of cool shit. I hope it goes on a whole lot longer. Feeling grateful.
