We had a TIME @standarddeviantbrewing Pier 70's @secondlinepleasureclub pop-up a couple of Sundays ago. Crawfish boil, red beans and rice, cornbread, and the coldest tasting beer was on the menu - it was just what we needed. 🦐🍻 . S/o to Aaron and his hard-working team cranking out delicious food for the crowd and for bringing some New Orleans magic to The Bay. Can't wait for the next. ⚜️🎺✨

Dust off your origami skills and aerodynamics knowledge and add a dash of your inner child. Or just bring your child and fold some paper together. • • • National Paper Airplane Day is an unofficial observance, celebrated on May 26 each year in the United States to commemorate the simple aeronautical toy. Mr. Collins has published multiple books about paper airplanes, is a keynote speaker on the subject, and from 2012-2022 held the world record for the farthest flight by a paper aircraft. How far? Thrown by football player Joe Ayoob, the glider, named “Suzanne,” after Collins’ wife, flew 226 feet, 10 inches (69.14 meters). Whoa!

Here’s a sneak peak at what’s to come this weekend on Saturday at @calicraft and Sunday @standarddeviantbrewing . Crawfish and live music from 2-5. Come ready to stay. Bring an instrument if you want to jam with @kadpofficial (maybe hit him up first) Purchase a haul and it will come with all you see here. Zapps, red beans and rice, and cornbread. … and for good. Second Line Pleasure Club brings the inclusive, joyful, communal energy of the crawfish boil to the Bay Area. We are starting with preorder tickets as we grow but the full table pile and all you can eat format is the goal. Next events are this weekend, May 2 at Calicraft Beer Garden in Walnut Creek and May 3 at Standard Deviant Pier 70 in SF. Both with live music. Many more to come. We are using Sacramento delta crawfish, a custom spice blend from @oaktownspice , andouille from @livermorebutchershop , always fresh corn and potato, and a whole lot of heart.
