The way they displayed the HWA Evo at Ultrace Germany still has my mind reeling.
I'll admit I wasn't a fan of the HWA Evo - until I saw it in this specific setting. An acoustic proofed room, incredible lighting and a matching soundtrack made this room frel incredibly surreal. Like you stepped into a Cyberpunk movie. It still lives rent free in my head. I'm convinced this setting, this installation would not have worked half as well with any other car.
It was the perfect way to highlight how over the top yet incredibly engineered this car is.
One of my favorites at Ultrace Düsseldorf was this E30 that brought the whole package to the table - killer stance and wheels, great engine bay and an amazing interior!

We stopped by the CDLC HQ this summer. The guys have been around since 2008, back when the stance scene was still young. They turned into their own brand in 2014. In the early days, they were screen-printing shirts in their garage – they still have that first stencil in their office.
Now they've got a dope HQ in Turku at Kärsämäentie 5. You'll find the English translation in the Porsche mirror 😉
The hall is packed with sick cars and projects – every single one of them would be worth its own post. So yeah, they live the culture, not just the business.
This year's Fittedfest celebrated its 10th anniversary and is definitely at the forefront of European meets.
