“echo archive is a digital archive investigating the legacy of industrial waterfronts, their lasting ecological impacts, and the queer labour embedded within these histories. steele turns to digital and diagnostic technologies, particularly down-scan sonar scanning and microscopic imaging, as new ways of sensing place. echo archive seeks to resurface submerged histories embedded in industrial systems and imagine how decolonial queer ecologies might remediate the wounds they inherit”
