POV: a bunch of BOA students accidentally creating cinema during their work experience 🎬✨
Our students recently completed work experience with @missionaccompuk , where they were tasked with producing a series of videos promoting work experience opportunities and helping students, teaching staff, and employers understand the do’s and don’ts along the way.
And now? Those videos are becoming part of a national campaign being shared with schools across the UK 🇬🇧
From concept planning to filming and editing, this project gave students the chance to work on a real industry brief with real impact — building professional skills while creating something that will support young people nationwide.
Huge congratulations to everyone involved 👏

Stage and Screen Celebrates Deaf Awareness Week! Our new video is a simple but personal monologue from Writing, Directing and Screencraft Year 13 student Lucy Rees, who shares with us a personal experience of her own hearing loss.

Our Year 12 Writing, Directing and Screencraft learners have been showcasing their understanding on how to create a radio podcast and create a stylistic edit using Fairlight in Davinci Resolve. This is something you would learn at University but at BOA Stage and Screen, we want the learners to have the advantage in the world of filmmaking.
