Dear VFTB family, It’s been a week and I feel it hahaa. Honored is an understatement to work with this great group of actors, crew, SMs, and director David Gammons. I’ll miss the banter, the jokes, the rehearsal antics and the little community we made. I’ll miss our green room craziness and warm up rituals. The funny quips, the random songs, and all the tasty snacks. I’ll miss the impressions, the goofy characters, and the memories we all created in the midst of all this chaotic life we have everyday. All I can say is WOW! What a trip this film was! I don’t want to get too sappy, but this was a film way out of my comfort zone but I’m so happy I did it! This took an insane amount of rewriting, rehearsing, researching, doubting, and pushing through things that felt impossible at times. It took a lot out of me, and out of the entire team but it gave us a 100 folds back. I’d do it all over again if I had to. This is my first short in America my follow-up to Archivists. You’ll have to wait a little while to watch it. We’re taking it to the festival circuit first but there’s a lot more coming from me this year, and the next, and the next… and the next. Forever.
