RIP Knoxley ❤️ It breaks our hearts to write this but on Tuesday evening the wonderful Miss Knoxley passed away peacefully in her sleep. Those of you who met this lovely lady will know how much happiness and laughter she brought to everyone around her and that she was such an incredibly loved member of the family. She was always the centre of attention in the little shop, chilling in her bed watching the passers by and welcoming people in and also causing occasional mischief. Words can’t express how much we’ll miss her and we know a lot of you will too X
SAD ANNOUNCEMENT. It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Stag Digbeth will be closing it’s its doors for the final time on Saturday 29th October.
It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey since we opened in March 2019. Just two weeks after our first birthday, the country went into lockdown. Since then we’ve faced multiple lockdowns and rule changes, and more recently the disruption caused by the roadworks in Digbeth. This combined with rising costs means that it’s no longer viable to keep the venue open.
It’s been amazing to see so many people enjoy the space over the last 3 and a half years. Trims, tunes and good times was the game and we’d like to think we played it well. We were fortunate to host plenty of amazing events, meet some incredible people and engage with the community in a way that we’d always wanted to.
From the bottom of our hearts we’d like to thank each and every one of you who have supported us in any way. We couldn’t have made it this far without you and we hope you enjoyed the journey as much as we did! The ongoing support has meant so much to us and we massively appreciate you all.
We’ll be open as usual this week so if you’re in the area we’d love to see you before we close. Big love from the Stag Digbeth crew xxx
