Our super coach @ljlserene also road well to take 2nd overall woman!
We had a few @cyclingdevfoundation Junior Cycling Academy riders out on course too, in what was an exciting start to the WA gravel season across the board!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to our Social Ride on Sunday! We had a fantastic Easter, riding bikes with a bunch of awesome people. Big numbers in each group, we weren't really sure what to expect being the long weekend but y'all turned up and showed your support.
Our next one is May 10th 8:30. We'll get a save the date post up asap with the next few rides so you can prepare.

🚵♀️ Social Shenanigans last Sunday 🚵♂️
Wowee, this was probably one of the biggest turn outs we've had so far, rough head count was around 70. We started with 5 groups and the in-between split into a few smaller ones to make it more manageable. It's awesome to see so many different types of riders coming along to our social, we are happy to be able to cater for so many riding styles.
The next social falls on Easter Sunday (April 5th) as it's the only race free weekend in April. But really, what better way to justify Easter chocolate than riding a bike? Same deal as always, meet at the shop at 8, we'll aim to roll out at 8:30. Ebikes are available for hire at the socials for $50 but hit us up before hand as they go quick.

The Glen Forrest Jump Track Grand Opening went off. I've been involved with this project for almost three years and it was absolutely amazing to finally see it open and enjoyed by so many people. My love of photography definitely started at live shows. I used to spend pretty much every weekend at HQ with a camera, watching local acts and snapping all the photos. In fact I think @connectivetraildisorder first words to me were something about putting the camera down and enjoying the show. But for me, a huge part of enjoying the show was capturing the moments.
I didn't realise how much I missed shooting gigs until Saturday nights @eyeslikeoceansau show. Thank goodness Matt decided to pick up the sticks again and pulled me along for the ride. Back where we belong.
Unfortunately I lost a lot of my original photos (thanks MySpace for deleting everything) but I was able to go through the archives and find a few snaps of Matt, @ryan.banachek and @joe_rice_ from back in the day, how wild to have them all in one band together now.
Bring on more gigs!
