Day 2. No slowing down.
Sarah and Ella still on the ground at Conversion 2026 and the insights are only getting sharper.
What’s worth noting today:
➡️ The brands that are growing are focusing on their brand positioning & not solely on performance metrics. There is a resurgence in looking at total impressions not just clicks. Frequency is also key, with consumers now needing on average 22 connections with a brand before converting.
➡️ AI is part of every conversation. The general feeling has been that of ‘just start and have a go’. Don’t wait and over analyse, just start. The conversation has been very mixed as to whether it should be leadership or people lead within organisations. However, it’s been great reassurance to understand how advanced Sunny is within AI, even compared to be agency’s out of the US & Europe.
➡️ 2. Different channels need different creative
Simply resizing the same creative across platforms is becoming ineffective. Different environments require different messaging, tone, and formats.
➡️ Awareness is measurable if you define the right KPIs. The industry is moving beyond clicks and immediate ROAS metrics. More conversations focused on:
Brand lift, purchase intent, attention, social engagement, branded search growth, MMM and time on site/content engagement

➡️ Turbulence & takeoff: branding in travel today:
Travel branding runs on feeling, it’s built on trust, not features. Women are the highest buyers and the luxury segment is growing massively
➡️ From brandside:
The brand race inside formula 1 - F1 proved that people won’t remember the logo, they’ll remember the experience. Access is the strategy of connection.

➡️ Influence matters more than attribution Last click is becoming less meaningful because most decisions are already made before someone searches. Media’s job is to shape preference over time, not just capture intent.
➡️ Streaming and scrolling are demand creators
Search and shopping capture existing demand, but streaming and scrolling create it. Google’s own research suggests 50-60% of budgets should shift toward influence-driving environments.
➡️ Data foundations matter before AI can work properly
AI is only as good as the structure underneath it. Cleaning up naming conventions, tracking consistency, and connecting 1PD with media performance data is the groundwork before any sophisticated AI implementation.
