My friend Simon @madewithmagnets and I. He asked for a photo with me at Lola’s a couple of weeks ago. I took pictures until Simon was happy with one. This is the one he liked. A week later he got in a bad car accident that was not his fault. He’s recovering in an Ottawa hospital. Multiple broken bones, stitches, but he’s alive. Simon has become a good friend of mine. We talk to each other about Real Stuff. Art stuff. Relationship stuff. Life stuff. I miss him. He’ll be heading back to Cornwall soon, and I look forward to bringing him a stack of vintage horror comic books to inspire him to draw again, and get him back a semblance of normalcy. He’s done two of my tattoos and I hope to get many more. Wishing him, and you, a safe and happy Christmas. 🎄 🎄🎄
I produced, co-wrote and star in a tv show coming to Bell Fibe TV1 in Canada in April! It’s called Cheese On Top, and it’s a silly show about Cornwall Pizza, a pizza style here where I live. This photo was taken at the end of a verrrrry long first day of shooting. See the back of the human pizza slice on the right? I had just spent the last two hours in this gorilla suit with a Cornwall Pizza tshirt on top, chasing him, the Pizza Man, very slowly during our Santa Claus parade. So many families stopped us for pictures, little kids were telling the Pizza Man to run faster, the Pizza Gorilla was right behind him! We’ve been invited back next year ♥️🍕🇨🇦
