Lens transplant
Converted the lens from a 60's film camera to digital with 3D printing + photos taken with it at the end
I designed it to take dreamy point and shoot aesthetic photos. The mount allows tilt shift, and a custom aperture allows a shallow depth of field by exposing more of the lens glass. Because my mount has no barrel it almost always creates photos with glares and sensor reflections. These can make the photos look dreamier but can be excessive so I cover the gap with my hand in that case.
I painted this about a year ago but I never really got the render right. The idea is neat but the composition could use cleaning up, as I feel there's a lack of focus. I might go back to the idea at some point with a more shapey style and some environmental effects that enhance the depth.
