Lost Artwork for “Palm Trees In The Trenches” an album by Ice Lord and another well known rapper / producer I won’t name since I’m not sure the entire circumstances for this album getting put on hold. I’d put this somewhere around 2022 or 23
More delayed / shelved cover art for that ass — “Satriale’s” was meant to be an Umbrella compilation album produced by Rob Deniro. I never quite finished this one since it was put on hold while I was still working on it. I intended to draw a few more members in the window, but only got around to Rob, Pro, Mickey & Snotty before the project stalled. I would still like to see this project come to fruition since I’m a big fan of the entire click. ☂️⚡️
Glad I didn’t hesitate to snatch one up on release day - that backorder looks nastee! Love this thing… can’t wait for the update w/ normalize & scaled mode for knobs
Another scrapped project. This was meant to be a variant cover for “Across The Tracks” from Boldy James & Conductor Williams on Near Mint. It wasn’t really working for the project and they ended up going another direction. I wasn’t even mad at that tho because the art they settled on was great - Especially the main cover by Brian McHenry. I ended up recycling the Draco drawing and using it for another project instead that had a tight deadline.
I end up with a lot of unused art that just gets lost in the mix - usually collateral material for physicals or sometimes projects that just get shelved. I can’t recall what this particular @diamond__dallas piece was for… I imagine it was NLB412 II or something around that time tho.
