I dette projekt udfordres og nytænkes en række klassiske håndværkstraditioner med inspiration fra kunstig intelligens og animation. Resultatet er en serie unikke, håndlavede borde i håndskåret eg, massivt glas og hamret stål.
EVOLUTION Side Tables kombinerer innovation med tradition og hylder det kvalitetsfyldte håndværk i moderne legende design. Designet er umiddelbart, sanseligt og drevet af en passion for materialitet og eksperimentering.

På Christiansborg Slotsplads i København er der en perlerække af store granitkugler som beskytter pladsen mod terrorangreb. Disse kugler har dannet udgangspunktet for designet af Christiansborgbænken, som vi har haft fornøjelsen af at fremstille. En cirkulær bænk, der inviterer til ophold, refleksion og samtale om demokratiets vilkår og fremtid.
Bænken er lavet af 80 ens sæde- og rygelementer i mahogni, som samles omkring granitkuglen og svæver omkring den som Saturns ringe. Bænken holdes sammen af en stålring øverst lavet af @staalogform.dk
Bænken blev lavet til Snedkernes efterårsudstilling tilbage i 2023

From idea to finished chair in just three and a half days – including powder coating!
We received the assignment from @markdevosdalhoum – and then things moved fast. Milling, rolling, welding and grinding. Multiple processes running in parallel, where every detail matters.
An intensive process, carried out by the skilled team at Stål & Form. Experience, precision and solid craftsmanship – all the way from first setup to final finish ⚒️⚙️✨
The result is a truly beautiful chair - very nice color too!
