This month, we share another parent testimonial because hearing directly from parents offers an authentic look at school life and builds trust. Plus, there’s no better perspective than the people living it every day. Stay tuned for stories that capture the heart of our school and why families chose St. Thomas's.
"In addition to the incredible education, we felt like the St. Thomas's community values aligned with those we emphasize at home, and that our son would benefit from that consistency across both." Learn more about our community via link in bio.
Our annual STEAM Week took a trip back in time this year with a prehistoric theme, and campus was filled with dinosaurs, discovery, and plenty of roaring fun. Students explored hands-on activities and creative challenges across classrooms and on exciting field trips! Thank you to our STEAM team and visiting presenters for a 'dino-mite' week.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Great Give! Thanks to your help, we exceeded our $20,000 matching goal, raising approximately $41,000 for St. Thomas's. This achievement wouldn't have happened without the Crews-McKenzie (`09, `15) family’s incredible generosity. If you have not yet made a gift this year, please consider giving today via link in bio. Have a wonderful weekend - you deserve it.
We are so close: We have raised $19,000 so far toward our goal! Help us unlock $1,000 more matching dollars!
Thank you to everyone who has already given today—your support is making a real difference and helping us build momentum toward unlocking our $20,000 match.

We welcomed members of the Class of 2020 back to campus on Monday for a Recognition Ceremony, giving them the chance to finally “graduate” in person and celebrate this milestone alongside friends, family, and former teachers. Smiles and hugs filled the campus as classmates reunited and reflected on the journey that brought them back together. Surrounded by the place where so many of their memories began, we honored not only what they missed, but everything they’ve accomplished since—and the bright futures still ahead.
Mrs. Vasseur, their 6th grade teacher, addressed the class during the ceremony. "Nothing could replace what was taken — but what emerged in its place was something unexpected. A class that found new ways to show up, to connect, to create. You knew it wasn't the same. We knew it too. And we showed up for each other anyway — because that is what you do for the people you love."
We wish them the very best of luck as they graduate high school and we can’t wait to see all they will achieve.
We’re excited to launch our Parent Testimonial Campaign—a series highlighting the voices and experiences of the families who make our school community so special. Over the coming months, you’ll hear directly from parents as they share what they love most about St. Thomas's and why they chose to call this community home. Stay tuned for stories that capture the heart of our school—one family at a time.
"As the kids say nowadays, when we walked into St. T.’s, it was the vibes." Learn more about the St. Thomas's community via link in bio.
One of the most anticipated events of the school year is Gym Night, coming soon. Students in Grades 1–6 participate in a variety of energetic performances, including gymnastics routines, team games, and the always-popular (and proudly “competitive”) volleyball match featuring our Grade 6 students.
A special thank you goes to our incredible PE team, Mr. Anderson and Ms. Williams, for the dedication, creativity, and effort they bring to our program each day. Their guidance and encouragement help students grow not only as athletes, but also as teammates and leaders.
Gym Night is about much more than athletics—it’s a joyful celebration of our school community. Read more about our incredible team in the most recent Thinking Big installation via link in bio.
We wrapped up our week with a presentation in Morning Gathering from our First Grade students. They stepped up to the microphone with pride and confidence to share what they've learned in their Eagle Eye immersion project. This five-month project is designed to transform first-grade students from passive observers into active environmental advocates through the study of the American bald eagle.
Presenting to our entire community is scary but we believe that public speaking is an important skill that can begin developing even in the earliest years. When our youngest students share their learning aloud, they build confidence and learn to express their ideas clearly. Most importantly, public speaking teaches children that their voice matters—and that they have something worth sharing. Along the way, we also learned all about eagles and their symbolic representation!
Keep an eye out for eagles in your area—and be sure to share if you spot one!
