SSL Team Estonia Ready for Another Shot at SSL Gold Cup Finals Rio 2026
The next step comes in Switzerland, where racing will take place from June 8–11. Estonia has been drawn into a qualifying group D, with Austria and Slovenia. Only one team will move forward.
Estonia has a unique place in SSL history. Back in 2019, the team became one of the first national squad officially welcomed into the Star Sailors League project. They were also one of the first crews to sail the new SSL 47 gold boats, becoming part of the story before the competition had fully taken shape.

Group C of the SSL Gold Cup qualifiers will feature the SSL Team Morocco 🇲🇦
For Morocco, this first participation is not only about taking part. The team wants to achieve an important result and compete with some of the best sailing nations in the world. Before reaching the finals in Brazil, however, Team Morocco must first pass the qualification stage in Switzerland (2-6 June 2026) 🗓️
The upcoming event is expected to bring exciting racing, strong international competition, and a historic moment for Moroccan sailing on the global stage 🌎
Zineb Harris, the team’s tactician, shared the team’s excitement ahead of the competition.

SSL Team Serbia is wrapping up its training session in Grandson today after four intense days of practice in a variety of sailing conditions.
How does Goran Stevanovic, helmsman of the Serbian team, sum up the days spent in Switzerland?
🎙️ Today is our last day here. I think we made the most of our time on the water. The team progressed from working on the basics during the first days to performing some really great manoeuvres over the past few days. We’re leaving Grandson in high spirits and are very eager to come back in a month for the qualifiers.

- We’re currently focused on manoeuvres, hoist drops, and of course, boat speed. So far, we’re really satisfied. We also have an international coach from Croatia, and his support has been a huge help🎙️
