A lot of work went into this behind the scenes, and I’m grateful for everyone who played a part in making it happen.
i still haven’t processed winning an award and i think it’s mainly because of how much dua i’ve constantly made about this work and when moments like this unfold it’s a true blessing because others are feeling the impact i’m trying to create and make. i’m a little emosh aha typing this because i LOVE LOVE my work and it’s so important that people understand that charity shouldn’t be glamorised and delivering aid isn’t an aesthetic but instead should be taken in as to what are YOU doing to be that change for those less fortunate.
Every video, every post I have made is for it to reflect into donations and impact. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every single beautiful soul who has supported me and attended my events and motivated me. Mainly, thank you to hooyo macaan for being my rock and queen because without you wallahi i don’t know where i would be and know what to do when things get emotional and tough trying to make that difference.
