We first discovered Stefano aka Sabla—an artist from Torino—through his stunning release on Pensaments Sònics, the sublabel of Hivern Discs. That record instantly caught our attention. Then came his collaboration with D.K., which led us to explore more. That’s when we found out Stefano co-runs the label Gang of Ducks. It’s more than just a label—it’s a creative space with a truly distinctive vision and tastefully curated output. Of course, like many others, we reached out to Stefano with the classic first request: would you record a podcast for us? His reply surprised us—instead of a regular mix, he proposed a Muslimgauze only set. The result was unique and powerful. It spread quickly, especially among Muslimgauze followers. While preparing the fourth edition of our Unreleased Territory series—our most well-received one so far—we asked Stefano to contribute a track. What he delivered went far beyond expectations. His music has a hypnotic, atmospheric quality that pulls you in and stays with you. In 2024, we finally met in person during a collaborative event at SODAS2123, organized together with Gang of Ducks. Later, during a visit to Torino, we agreed on further collaboration for the next edition of Unreleased Territory. Stefano aka Sabla isn’t just a talented producer—he’s a thoughtful and inspiring person with a refined, adventurous musical taste. His work with Donato Dozzy, including two joint EPs, shows his ability to move effortlessly across styles. We’re truly honored to have him as part of the Electric Shapes family. In 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘩𝘰, form doesn’t emerge all at once. It unfolds gradually, piece by piece, shaped by distant materials and subtle transformations. Each moment stands alone—singular, essential—yet part of a larger whole. 👁️ Distributed by One Eye Witness ~~~ Donato Dozzy & Sabla – Morpho | Gang Of Ducks |(GODREC39) Donato Dozzy and Sabla present a new chapter in their collaboration with Morpho, a suite of four sonic sculptures designed to be best enjoyed on your favorite sound system. If the first chapter, Crono featuring the four Flusso tracks released in 2023 was about forward flow and abstraction, Morpho is rooted in solidity and form. 
Forma I is stripped down to the very core: a massive bass foundation, few sonic particles and a mutant snare. The perfect good example of how less is sometimes more.
Forma II, while retaining the same dry, minimal aesthetic, develops a maze of details and tempos inviting you to lose yourself in it. 
Forma III begins to explore a deeper, more organic dimension. Percussion and reverbs emerge, while metallic elements seem to search their place, like electrons orbiting a nucleus.
Forma IV feels like the opening of a cocoon, where a new form comes to life in the organic world. A relentless percussion loop and an intense, slapping snare run throughout the track, carrying this journey to its end. All sounds were recorded in Rome in July 2024 at Dozzy’s studio, then edited and at times deconstructed to the granular level through February 2025.
