Detailed organization, a solid timeline, and excellent vendors will only get you so far. There can be an energy (or magic?) that weaves all of these elements together to create something special; a moment in time, a feeling of purpose and connection.
Creating that magic is what we do best.
Event management isn't always glamorous but it takes more than the pretty stuff to ensure your event is a success.
We handle ALL of the details so that you don't have to.
The value of hiring SRS is not simply in producing something beautiful. It is in safeguarding your investment, elevating your outcome, and ensuring that when the moment arrives—whether in a ballroom, a boardroom, or a backyard—you are able to be fully present, knowing that every detail is being handled with expertise, intention, and care.
Spending time with your friends, family, colleagues, or supporters is the whole point. Let us handle the details so you can be a guest at your own event.
One of the biggest traps we see hosts falling into is trying to do too much. A great event isn't made by doing ALL the things, it is by doing the most important things, really really well.
The first step in our planning process is a deep-dive into your priorities and goals so we can identify what the most important things are to you. After that, we will ensure that each decision and event detail meets your needs without getting distracted or overcomplicated by things that don't serve your purpose.
Your event is not just a party, it is a piece of your life story.
We create beautiful, thoughtfully planned environments that allow your guests and you to enjoy the moment.
I have had many conversations over the years about the cost of hiring an event planner and the value of doing so. It’s important for folks to understand why this work is not just a line item and that working with a partner like SRS Event Design is an investment that will save money, time, your internal resources AND up level your event.

Ali & Kinzie and all their favorite people rode the ski lift at Saddleback up to The Nest in Rangeley Maine. The Nest is a restaurant located at the top of Saddleback Mountain. In the ski season it serves as an apres for those looking for a moment of rest between runs. In the off season, it can be used for ceremonies for amazing couples like Ali + Kinzie!
Despite the rain, most guests also opted to take the ski lift up and down the mountain to attend the ceremony. Each brave soul covered themselves in ponchos, rain jackets and umbrellas for the trek. Regardless of the weather, the vibes were high and the adventurous nature reached beyond Kinzie and Ali and their guests got right into the spirit of the day.
A wicked good time was had by all and I was lucky enough to be the one to take the pictures to prove it!
