I had a nice time painting on Emily Herr‘s Mural Truck. Although it’s just a small part, It was very fun. She started the process at the 25th anniversary celebration for Croaker Spot and is now at the firehouse Theatre.

People showed me this clip from a woman’s month program featuring Governor Spanberger at the Museum of History and Culture in Richmond, Virginia. I was surprised and honored to be even a small part of the presentation.

I forgot to post about my recent invite to tour the @vmfamuseum with Virginia Governor @abigailspanberger . We had a very enlightening conversation about art in the Conservation Studio of the museum. Afterwards, she chose my painting, The Huntress, to hang in the Executive Mansion. I am honored.
I want to thank Dr. Sesha Moon for the invite and VMFA Director Alex Nyerges for making my painting available (also for purchasing it in the first place 🙂), plus VMFA Curator Valerie Cassel Oliver for leading the GIANTS tour (also for curating the exhibition).
It was a stone groove to talk shop with my artist friends @hamglass and Alvin Lester.
A big shout out to the very skilled and nice people of the Conservation Studio of the VMFA and Liza Mickens with @visitvirginia for taking all the photos and videos.
