From the pool to the podium, our patient Blake swam her way to second place at the Arkansas all-state competition! After experiencing discomfort doing every day activities, doctors at Scottish Rite for Children confirmed Blake had hip dysplasia. After two surgeries and many hours of physical therapy, she's back where she belongs, in the water. 🏊🏻‍♀️ Now she's pain-free and aiming for a swim scholarship. Blake, thank you for reminding us to never give up!

"My favorite part of Scottish Rite is the camps we get to go to." 🏕️ Scotty has been attending Camp Joint Adventure for years, and those words say it all. Born with limb differences, Scotty has faced adversity, but at Scottish Rite for Children, he's never had to face it alone. Camp Joint Adventure is where children like Scotty find their people, build confidence and get to just be kids. Every child deserves that feeling, and the good news is … there's still time to sign up! Camp Joint Adventure serves children ages 7 to 15 with arthrogryposis, multiple limb loss, arthritis and certain rheumatic conditions. Camp will be held July 26-31 for outdoor activities, sports, games, and arts and crafts. 💙 Want to be part of the magic? Applications are still open for volunteers to help us make this year's camp unforgettable. Learn more about CJA at the #LinkinBio!

After an ATV accident led our patient Jett to seek specialized treatment at Scottish Rite for Children, he is rebuilding strength in his left arm and shows no signs of slowing down! 🧡 Under the care of pediatric orthopedic hand surgeon Dr. Scott Oishi, Jett underwent multiple surgeries and skin grafts to restore what was lost. With the support of his occupational therapy team, he's been rebuilding mobility in his arm one session at a time. His mom says, "During the hardest year of our lives, Scottish Rite has been heaven-sent. When you are at Scottish Rite, the best of the best will take care of your child." Jett, your strength is so inspiring. We're honored to be part of your journey!

After an injury at 15, our patient Adriana came back stronger at 16. 🏐 Her diagnosis was lumbar spondylolysis, a stress fracture in her lower spine caused by months of repetitive serves, blocks and hits. Her volleyball season was unexpectedly cut short. Missing games wasn't easy, but with the support of her care team at Scottish Rite for Children, Adriana found the motivation to trust the process. Rest, physical therapy, a back brace and a whole lot of patience later, she's back on the court, feeling stronger than before. 💜 Read Adriana's full story at the #LinkInBio!
