I've been looking forward to this day for a while. They say most business will fail within the first 5 years. The first 5 years were always going to be a milestone for me. 5 years of growth and building this amazing community. I always believed in myself, but never did I think I'd achieve this much. Director & CEO out here of my own God dam limited company, cooking in million pound mansions across the country, getting reccomended by over 70 air b&bs, providing people with special memories forever.
I usually advertise a valentines menu , this year I didn't bother, I've been rammed and tonight we travel to Taunton for a table of 18 !! I'm even getting recognised when I'm out and about now, and it's absolutely insane.
I've got unbelievable accountants looking after my books and a financial adviser guiding me for the future to make the right moves now ( big up @chippendaleclark
And @nathsteele_ at @heritage_financial_ ). When I was dead broke, I couldn't picture this.
SR DINING has given me so many mad opportunities, I'm so grateful that I took the plunge and chased the dream. Valentine's is a very, very special day for me because of the business but also the opportunities it gives me to provide for my girls.
I know this is long , but I want people to know I'm just a normal kid from a broken family on a council estate. Nothing can stop you wanting to be what you want to be.
No matter what background, if you want something or you are debating, chasing something because of failure.
Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. I mean, look at me now 5 years deep ❤️

Dreamy weekend
This weekend I had the absolute pleasure to do a special 40th birthday celebration. Both on Saturday and Sunday I went to cater for the amazing Coronation Street actress @tinaob83 , and her family and friends. Such lovely people and I really enjoyed doing this.
A huge thank you to her amazing husband @adamcrofts who was so great to deal with when booking. Also I managed last minute to get a cake sorted for Tina's birthday from jodie at @gourmetbrowniekitchen .
A very surreal weekend for me, I grew up watching corrie with family as a youngster. So this really was a dream job .

4 YEARS OLD
Today is not only a celebration of love but for me it's a even bigger day as SR DINING is 4 years old ❤️ something popped up on my memories couple days ago about me sampling menus and thinking of a name and a logo. With a hashtag saying it was all a dream.
Fast forward 4 years , I've gone back to college to talk to the next generation and give advice, I've cooked for stars, I've given back with the charity runs every Christmas it's a staple of we believe in, I've become a limited company, I'm a bloody director. Can you believe it, we are now doing huge weddings, I'm giving work out to other local chefs, we've done over 500 private dining bookings, I get to cook in the most surreal multi million pound houses .
And it all started because I believed in myself and put myself out there. Anyone thinking the same , just do it, i remember I had people sniggering at me when I said I'm going to do my own thing, and who's laughing now .
They say most small businesses only last up to 5 years nowadays because its so difficult to maintain, but I'm absolutely thriving and long may it continue.

We, the team , We did it . A unbelievable wedding at the beautiful @at_chalk . For the amazing @pat_jenks and @cassieshackleford . Doing the food the night before , bridal party breakfast package and the groomsmen breakfast too. Then followed on in to the wedding of 400 canapés, bbq and salads for 111 then evening food too . Surprise singing waiters the lot, working with other great businesses such as @katylockedesign , @kate_inthe_country and @joannabrooksphotography . Really and truly a magical few days .
Huge congratulations to the beautiful couple , a absolute honour for us to be so involved ❤️

BIGGEST JOB YET TO DATE
Imagine planning, ordering, visualising for the biggest job of your career, all the notes, all the paperwork, all the crushing numbers . Months and months of behind the scenes work . For this moment this weekend.
It's special to me because this weekend im catering for good friends of mine @pat_jenks and @cassieshackleford wedding . The night before, the breakfast for both bridal party and groomsmen. Canapés then food for 111 guests, then evening food for even more. We done weddings before for 140 ofcourse but this one right here has got so much going on, and im just having a moment . To realise I should celebrate the wins more. Securing and actually bringing these huge bookings to life. Im surrounded by boxes galore and paperwork. And im thinking rahhhhhh I created this madness. A lot of ppl talk a good game . im constantly walking the walk time and time again.
Securing paydays, i could only dream off. The workload is massive , people don't see all the hour's but boy, im proud of me. It's another moment in my journey where I just think yeahhh boy, you're doing just fine.
I can't wait for me and the team to go smash it .

This was for a lovely family in Warminster, had some beautiful 5 stars reviews from this night and it's the 2nd time we've been back . Was chuffed with the new cod dish too Poached in coconut milk served with crispy potatoes, sweetcorn puree, creamed leeks, samphire, crispy onions and a basil oil . A absolute delight on the pallet
