Presenting Liquid Soap’s ( @liquidsoapforever ) latest release ⚔️ ANNO DOMINI ⚔️ a four track conceptual EP that explores the tumultuous origins of Christianity within the Roman Empire — harps, flutes, monks, chimes and frame drums are juxtaposed with standard techno sounds / rhythms to create a truly massive and hypnotic EP.
Available on all platforms and the Squishy site with special limited print June 25th!
Brooklyn-based rave entrepreneur and techno producer John Barclay is most well-known for his behind-the-scenes contributions to NYC dance and DIY culture, co-founding Bushwick techno staple Bossa Nova Civic Club, rogue rave venues 285 Kent and Trip House, White Label Yerba Mate Soda and the repeal of NYC’s notorious authoritarian Cabaret (No Dancing) Law, Barclay was also a member of DIY rave “supergroup” DUST, a since-retired collaboration with audio engineer Michael Sherburn of Earth Boys and visual/noise artist Greem Jellyfish.
