This needs to be on the grid. I love this man more than most people. 25 years of best friendship. We’re older and shtoopider but still here. If you look at my work box he’s still the only picture I’ve ever put up. Love you shtoops! @richardjstafford
It’s been a really really tough few days and I just haven’t had the words. But I don’t want it to pass too long. Saturday we lost one of my best friends. Matt has always always always been there for me. Since we met in 1994 and playing basement shows in Delaware and LI together to reuniting when he moved to Greenpoint and spending nearly every day together for years hanging or playing music together. We had a pretty great full family for a long time there and happy that we’re all still friends and can be there for each other now. I hate being so far away in LA while everyone is hurting in NY. Got that guilty feeling that I could have made more of an effort or made one more phone call. But I’m happy that our last words to each other just a couple of weeks ago were I LOVE YOU! Matt I will always love you and admire you. You were and still are truly a best friend.

I Hate Our Freedom brought together members of Thursday, Texas Is the Reason, L.S. Dunes, New End Original, Pilot to Gunner, and Garrison — anchored by Tucker Rule, Scott Winegard, Justin Scurti, and Sid Jagger — for a brief but powerful run that yielded two releases, including This Year’s Best Disaster. Produced by Kurt Ballou (God City, Converge), the album captures a raw collision of post-hardcore intensity and unfiltered rock energy from musicians with deep roots in the underground. Active between 2011 and 2012, the band’s short-lived run left a lasting impression. Available now on streaming services and limited red + blue vinyl from the 2012 pressing!
2 weeks til my 50th !!!! Still acting like I’m in my 20’s running marathons, non stop touring, lifting and pushing and pulling things that I shouldn’t alone. Loading and unloading trucks. 18 hour work days. Chasing around a puppy. I tried everything for my back. Once my fingers went numb I knew I needed more than a massage. Got the procedure today and looking forward to seeing how it works in a couple of days. Thanks @brittakens for being with me and thanks @tobymorse for talking it through with me and the PMA the last week.

Following @marino911 here. I’m on tour and I can’t technically take off tomorrow. But know I love my job and it allows me to live the life I want. I’m lucky. I stand with my chosen family and say F You to this administration this government and frankly this current world. I’ve been waking up sadder and sadder every day. Heavier and heavier. I love you all!!!
2025!!!! Lots of work. Met so many great new friends. Had a real vacation for the first time in a decade. Meds helped and felt good. But what made me feel even better was meeting @brittakens One night one punk show and one hug changed my life. Thankyou for putting up with me. So excited to see what 2026 has in store for us. I love you Britt
Hey! This is me 2025. I’ve got a huge year coming up with work. I’m so fortunate for my opportunity with my friends and newest artist. I’ll see you somewhere
2025 and my friends are still doing the raddest things. Very fortunate to get to hang with @walterschreifels and @brianbakers for Brian’s new book The Road. A photo book full of iPhone pics from waking up on the bus and taking long walks before sound check. It was one of the coolest conversations I’ve ever been a part of. Thank you @johnnytemple127 and @akashicbooks for always making me part of the family
