Zak Scott Productions are proud to announce a new partnership with The Squire Performing Arts Centre to launch FutureTechs — an exciting new week-long summer school dedicated to training the next generation of Theatre Technicians.
Running alongside the Zak Scott Productions Summer School, FutureTechs will provide students with hands-on experience in the fundamentals of backstage theatre, including rigging, lighting, and sound. Led by technical industry professionals, the programme has been designed to give young people practical insight into the world of technical theatre and live production.
As part of the experience, students will also have the opportunity to apply their new skills while working on Grease the Musical.
FutureTechs will run from 10th – 15th August and marks the first summer programme of its kind in the East Midlands.
