I’m directing my first feature film.
Over the years, I’ve directed nearly 20 short form projects, in addition to producing, writing, 2nd unit directing, 1st assistant directing, acting, and performing stunts in numerous long form ones. Now I’m ready to take the wheel, with the indie science fiction story: DE NOVO.

Over a year ago, we walked alongside elephants who’d been rescued from inhumane tourist traps. We hiked, swam, bicycled, ferried, and scooted through the cities, landscapes, and islands of Thailand’s beauty.
We experienced some of the most insanely talented drag performers, and ate vegan more easily than anywhere I’ve been so far.
The visit took place before Thailand’s recent border conflict began. Hopefully the ceasefire continues, and those displaced are provided with the resources to rebuild.
While travel is the “death of ignorance,” it is unfortunately also a privilege. Though I’m deeply imperfect, my intention is always to experience new places with an emphasis on cultural appreciation, a lack of American entitlement, and an unwavering sense of curiosity.

Exactly one year ago, we lived out of a van to explore the Pacific Northwest majesty that is Washington State. Camping, climbing mountains, hiking ancient forests, and even filming some of the first pieces of our upcoming sci-fi feature De Novo. This place is truly magic. If anyone knows that slug, please tell them I think of them often and fondly.
Maximum effort. Getting to pitch De Novo in front of an audience that truly loves genre and independent filmmaking only made us fall harder for this film.
