From making “weird shit” in Ableton to thinking about DJing as a way of working with subtle energy, Bella’s practice is grounded in local meaning, community care and building pathways for others. In our first edition of Behind the Culture, she reflects on the shift from making for the internet to making for real rooms, real people and the communities around her, and why documenting what happens on the ground matters.
Bella is helping shape a version of music culture that feels more connected, more self-led and more rooted in place.
