Why a website instead of just Behance?
I wanted something more flexible. During work, there are always smaller projects that don’t quite fit on Behance. Those usually go on social, but a portfolio shouldn’t rely on social alone. So I built a site to house those pieces properly.
You can think of it as my second portfolio.
(btw, Framer is kinda tricky ngl)
Early in the year, our team had the opportunity to produce an intro video for the Marlboro Next packaging.
This was an internal event aimed at introducing and launching the product to retail agents and distributors.
A project where we combined 3D, 2D motion, and footage editing into a single pipeline.

🧧LỘC QUẺ - TDC LÌ XÌ TẾT PROJECT 🧧

Xin xăm vốn là biểu tượng văn hóa quen thuộc mỗi dịp Tết Việt Nam. Nhưng thực tế, trải nghiệm này thường bị đóng khung trong những không gian truyền thống. Để làm mới cảm giác hồi hộp của việc gieo quẻ và tái định nghĩa cách chúng ta trao - nhận lộc thông qua Thiết kế, TDC’s Creative Team collab cùng Si Tran và Quang Do đã thực hiện project Lì xì Tết: Lộc Quẻ.
Lộc Quẻ tái diễn lại một trải nghiệm tương tác, lồng ghép tinh thần “trò chơi nhân phẩm” vào hệ thống hộp đựng mô phỏng những ống xăm. Bên trong hộp đựng sẽ chứa các bao lì xì dưới hình thái thanh quẻ, được hoàn thiện bằng kỹ thuật giả lập 3D tỉ mỉ. Mỗi thanh quẻ ẩn giấu những giá trị hiện kim và lời chúc khác nhau, cho phép người nhận trực tiếp chọn lấy vận may của mình một cách đầy bất ngờ.

Toward the end of the year, I had the opportunity to collaborate again with @kyquata on a year-end project for Coin98, focusing on the major shifts and fluctuations within the crypto industry over the past year. Despite a tight timeline that overlapped with both of our busy schedules, the project came together smoothly and was completed with a strong final result.

Mã đáo thành công = Success arrives upon the horse's return.
Mã (Horse): In ancient times, horses were the primary means of transportation for soldiers and merchants. They symbolized speed, strength, and endurance.
Đáo (Return/Arrival): It refers to the horse coming back safely from a battle or a long journey.
Thành công (Success): Victory.
Share với mọi người một vài motion mình làm cho Hyperwork. Có một option 3D mình test ae beta nhưng không hợp vibe lắm nên không dùng, nhưng nhìn cũng cool cool nên share luôn.
Trong quá trình làm, mình cũng tạo ra một tool hỗ trợ cho motion logo, khá tiện. Tool này mình bắt đầu làm từ lúc làm Arken, hồi đó chỉ đơn giản là tạo shape, chưa có UI bấm như bây giờ, nên đa phần vẫn phải làm tay. Sau gần nửa năm phát triển thì giờ đã có UI và tự động gần như 100%.
Hiện tại script mình làm 2 phiên bản:
một bản lite miễn phí
và một bản trả phí với đầy đủ chức năng.

motion I made for @vietnamdesignday
khi nhận brief mình làm 3 option, có 2 option đầu an toàn, dễ dùng và motion này mình gửi cuối cùng vì là một option phụ mình explore vui vui gửi cho mọi người xem chứ không expected là sẽ được duyệt.
cả đám này chỉ đc làm trong vài ngày cuối tuần và sáng thứ 2 tuần sau là mọi người bắt đầu chạy event rồi nên mình phải tìm cách set up làm sao để có thể chỉnh sửa và fix feedback nhanh nhất có thể. Bất cập lớn nhất chắc là làm file 4k 😿🙏
