Hello, hello. This is a little re-introduction since my IG fam has grown a lot since my last one a few years ago.
If you’re new here, welcome - I’m Danielle, also known as Squamish Medium - Founder of Spirit School, If you’ve been around a while, hi again.
Most of you probably found me through my memes. I’ve been doing Spiritual Meme Roundup Monday since 2017 (over 400 weeks now). It started at my corporate desk, scrolling spiritual memes before work as a way to laugh before the day began. I’ve always been a sharer, so I started sharing the ones that made me laugh. Some of you have stayed for the stories. I’m in my IG stories almost daily, taking you along this very real life with me.
I’m an experiential storyteller and spiritual teacher, and I share both the highs and the hard parts.
I’ve been told more than once that when people meet me in real life, I’m exactly who they expected from Instagram. That sense of congruence matters deeply to me.
I’m a spiritual medium and have been serving Spirit since 2013, which is also the year I became a mom. Mediumship is a deep passion, and from the moment I stepped into development, I knew I would one day teach it.
That’s what I’m most known for now: teaching mediumship in a relational, organic, grounded way.
I share more teachings on my podcast Spirit School, and even more inside the Spirit School Collective, our community of mediums, healers, and space holders.
I live in the beautiful mountain town of Squamish. I’m the mom of two incredible humans (9 and 12).
I’m a Swampy Cree , a member of York Factory First Nations and also of Scottish descent.
I intend to do this work until the Creator calls me home.

Creating your own Declaration of Best Practices is more than just words on a page—it’s a powerful statement of integrity, responsibility, and the love we hold for our work and those we serve. Each practitioners declaration is a unique reflection of our individual paths, but together, they form a collective movement toward a more compassionate, trustworthy, and inclusive healing space.
Today, I’m sharing 10 of my declarations —ones that resonate deeply with the values I’ve cultivated in my spiritual communities and practices. These declarations are not just for show; they are a living commitments that will guide me as I continue to grow and serve the Spirit World and Humanity.

First paddle of the season - Retreat prep - inspiration is never at the computer for me - a beautiful start to Spring here on the West Coast of Canada! 🍁
✨You can’t plan for everything and Spirit showed up on Saturday to remind us exactly why we shouldn’t!✨✨✨
Our Mediumship and Performance practice circle left us all a little breathless, deeply moved, and so grateful for the work we get to do.
@squamishmedium shared her journey with speaking and performance, and the reminder that “confidence comes right after you do the thing!” hit home for everyone in the room.
We practiced group reading, and the energy was undeniable. One pair double-linked to connect with a father-in-law and then, in an unexpected twist, our very own Ops Manager Jordana formed a triple link, delivering a message of hope and closure.
And as if that wasn’t enough, @northvanmediumlisa and @sharlathemedium double-linked to connect with two different men and it was confirmed that these two adventurers knew eachother in life and had connected on the other side✨✨
Thank you to all who were in the room, using your energy to lift the room up. It was an unforgettable session!

Breaking out of Black✨
I had the pleasure of working with the beautiful Danielle @squamishmedium who loves her blacks and neutrals. As a public figure, she was ready to step out of her usual and discover her TRUE COLOURS that will make her shine on screen🤩
