It was honestly a bit overwhelming to see the space so full, the work being experienced, and the idea landing with people in such a genuine way.

I’m still taking it all in, to be honest.
Launching this project and seeing people experience the exhibition for the first time has been genuinely humbling. Thank you so much to everyone who came to the private view, sent messages, shared posts, brought good energy, and supported this idea from the very beginning.
Huge thanks to all the artists who believed in the project and trusted me with their work, and to the Sight Loss Council for their incredible support, insight and encouragement in helping make this show more thoughtful, accessible and meaningful.

This Sound Is Purple began as a question about how we might experience art differently. Seeing it come to life has been more than I could have hoped for.
Tonight we welcomed a focus group from the Sight Loss Council for a special preview of This Sound Is Purple.
A brilliant evening of listening, learning and sharing ideas on how we make this show, and future TSIP projects, genuinely accessible.

Thursday night @thissoundispurple is opening @sqft.space that will attempt to embrace the visually impaired to visual art with #soundandvision but I won't be there but you got to go as it's going to be choice as fcuk group show but I'll be there June 9th giving a bit if a talk probably about football & funk & not art

A new immersive exhibition exploring what happens when visual art is experienced through sound.
Across the show, each artwork is paired with its own bespoke audio piece, combining description, artist reflection and soundscape. Visitors are invited to slow down, listen closely, and experience the work in a different way.
