Shaq is one of the most talented people I've had the pleasure to coach. He's slowly starting to believe in himself as much as I believe in him. When he pieces it all together he will be even more of a force to be reckoned with.
Seeing the whole gym be so happy to see a core member receive a hard earned promotion was special. A real testament to the community and how Shaq is as a person and the impact he has on everyone at the academy 🫶

The coaches chair always has me wracked with nerves way more than being on the mat myself. However these gents put an outstanding showing of the hard work we do behind closed doors every week. I couldn't be more proud of everyone of them. We all knew what they are capable of but Saturday night showed everyone else how good they truly are.
I felt like a proud farther watching the guys compete as well as seeing an army of Faber members in the stands going wild for their team mates too. A really special day for me as a coach/academy owner.
Beyond privileged to have everyone I have around me 🫶
